How do I check the status of my order?
With every order, once it’s processed, you’ll receive an email stating the shipping has been updated. We’ll send you your tracking number of when your shipment will get to you, etc. If you feel something is wrong or isn’t looking right just shoot me an email at
Is your website secure with my personal information?
Absolutely, no kidding. We use SSL security to ensure all your personal information is encrypted. We do not store your credit card information and it will be used one-time only upon purchasing your ring. Then your credit card information will be purged.
Does Isla and Ember provide a high-grade quality guarantee for all the products being sold?
Correct. If you do not like the product or changed your mind, contact us at! We do all we can to ensure your best shopping experience. We'll get it addressed, just nudge us!
Can I Return or Exchange my ring?
You can email us a request for a return up to 30 days from the day it’s delivered.
If you pass 30 days and still wanting a return, we can look into it. It never hurts to ask, never settle.
You can email us a request for an exchange anytime as long as the ring is in a clean, unmarked and salable condition.

Do your Wedding Bands have a Warranty?
What does that entail:
If the ring cracks, chips, breaks, shatters, crumbles, discolors, etc: Just send it back and we’ll send you a new ring.

So what’s SHIPPING like? How much and how long?
We try to keep it as simple as possible:
Domestic Orders (USA): Free Standard 2-8 Day Shipping
International Orders: Free 3-8 Day Shipping
*Keep Business Days in mind
Just So You Know:  **Orders placed after 4:00pm MST on weekdays will not be shipped until the next business day.  Orders placed after 12 pm MST on Saturday, will not be shipped until the following Monday at the earliest. We do not ship orders on Sundays or Holidays.

How much is international shipping?
International Orders: Free 3-8 Day Shipping always. 
*Again, keep Business Days in mind.

Please note the possibility of delays from the customs department on shipping.
There may be some small Vat taxes or duty fees, depending on your country but they should not be large fees. If you get a big bill (over $40 USD), please let us know!
Do you really give 10% to charity from every sale?
That is one of the greatest reasons Isla and Ember was started. We send a receipt of donation proof with every order (amount included).

Can I choose my own charity?
Of course! Please let us know at checkout and we'll donate to them as long as they have an online donation system.
If you don't have one in mind, we actually default to one of our favorites who is "charity: water". We are sure you'll love them too. Quick link about them here.

Can you do Customer Engravings?
Our goal is to get you the ring as fast as we can and provide the best experience we can. That being said, we do not offer customer engraving, BUT! we highly recommend taking your ring to a local jeweler to have it engraved. There is typically a very minimal fee to have this done, also this way you can be 100% sure of the size first.  
Do you have Financing Options?
As of right now, we don’t; we may in the future. Stay tuned.
Gold and Rose Gold Plating?
Anything from our Gold and Rose Gold Collection is Gold/Rose Gold color plating. This is why we are able to provide our rings for an incredible price. Plating may fade over time as it mixes with oils in the skin.
You will also want to keep it away from harsh chemicals (bleach, Lysol, hand sanitizer) as those will fade the gold plating faster than normal. If the plating is wearing sooner than you wanted, that is covered under our Lifetime Warranty, just send the ring! We’re happy to replace it.
I have a Nickel Allergy. What rings are good for that?
Tungsten has nickel in it, and that’s all we got. Shoot us a message at and we’ll send you our best suggestion of where to get the best Nickel-Free ring :)
How do I make a change to my order?
If you need to change a Shipping Option or ring size on an order already placed? Shoot us an email at and we'll take care of it as long as the ring hasn’t shipped out yet. We’re speedy at answering emails but note that we are equally as fast at getting orders on their way.
How do I get my ring finger sized to help ensure that I select the correct size?
The general rule is to head over to your local jeweler and they’d be happy to size you. Make sure to size to the width of the ring you’re getting as that plays a small factor (for example: your size will vary slightly with a 4mm width ring compared to an 8mm)
Our rings are comfort fit, which means the interior of the ring is domed rather than flat like standard fit rings. This means only the center part of the ring will be tight against the finger.  For example, if you order an 8mm width, only about 3mm will be tight against your finger. This helps create less friction and makes it easier to slide over your knuckle.  
General Tips:
  • Size After Five PM (if possible) - Finger size can fluctuate a full size during the day.  Joints tend to be the most swollen during the morning and throughout the day, especially if it's hot.  It's suggested that you measure your finger in the evening.
  • Twist - The correct size should twist once or twice to go over the knuckle.  If the ring is too loose, you risk the ring falling off if your finger is wet or if it is very cold outside.
  • Swelling - Some foods are notorious for causing swelling in your fingers (especially food with a lot of sodium or MSG, such as pizza and chinese food).  Hot temperatures also can cause swelling. It's recommended to avoid these foods and high temperatures prior to being sized.
  • Comfort Fit - It's recommended to use a narrow ringer sizer (about 3mm in width) when being fit for comfort fit bands since only a small portion will be tight on your finger.
